Microservices & API Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalablemicroservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
  
• Build API-first solutions using REST standards and OpenAPI specifications.
  
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Azure KubernetesService (AKS).
  
• Publish, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
  
• Integrate backend services with internal and external systems usingsynchronous and asynchronous patterns.
  
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, andAzure AD.
  
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and CI/CD automation.
  
• Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing using Azure Monitor andApplication Insights.
  
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Node.js andTypeScript for backend development.
• Experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially AKS, API Management, andKey Vault.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of API security best practices and OWASP guidelines.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with NextJS or similar Node.jsframeworks.
• Event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus or Event Hubs.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability in cloud environments.

Education

Experience Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on backend developmentexperience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building and operating microservices and REST APIs in production.
• Practical exposure to Azure, AKS, and Azure API Management.
• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes basics, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently on features and contribute to designdiscussions.
