Security Solutions Specialist – Network Operations

JobSummary

Weare looking for an experienced Security Solutions Specialist to manageday-to-day Network Access Control, network security, firewall, routing, andswitching operations in a multi-vendor enterprise environment. The idealcandidate will have hands-on expertise with FortiNAC, Aruba ClearPass, CiscoISE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista, and HPE Aruba technologies.

KeyResponsibilities

• Operate and support NAC platforms, including FortiNAC, Aruba ClearPass, or Cisco ISE.
  
• Manage endpoint profiling, posture assessment, access policies, quarantine, remediation, and device onboarding/offboarding.
  
• Support wired, wireless, BYOD, OT, IoT, IP phone, camera, and corporate endpoint access controls.
  
• Configure and troubleshoot RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, EAP-TLS, AAA, and identity-source integrations.
  
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and firewall environments.
  
• Operate Next-Generation Firewalls, including IPS, web filtering, application control, antivirus, and access-control policies.
  
• Investigate network incidents, authentication failures, firewall alerts, and performance issues.
  
• Support MPLS, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, NAT, QoS, traffic segmentation, and packet-capture analysis.
  
• Perform health checks, change implementation, testing, rollback planning, and root-cause analysis.
  
• Maintain configuration records, operational runbooks, incident reports, and SOPs.
  
• Participate in on-call or shift-based support as required.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
  
• Proven hands-on operational experience with FortiNAC, Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, or equivalent NAC platforms.
  
• Strong experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista, and/or HPE Aruba networking and firewall technologies.
  
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, BGP, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1X.
  
• Experience operating NGFW security features such as IPS, web filtering, application control, antivirus, and NAC integration.
  
• Ability to analyse logs, alerts, packet captures, and authentication events in a live production environment.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, documentation, and communication skills.
  

PreferredCertifications

• Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5, or NSE 7.
  
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Cisco certification.
  
• Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE certification.
  
• Exposure to ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, SIEM, IAM, and automation/scripting.
