About this Position

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What will I be doing?


As a Center of Excellence Manager, you will be expected to drive the continuing growth and development of the Center of Excellence towards business analysis best practices, industry best practices, and overall maturity. You should be comfortable understanding current and future trends and be able to mentor business analysts and improve the team towards creating a true Center of Excellence.


Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ yrs. of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Business
  • Architect or similar role
  • 5-7 years of experience managing a team of people and engagement staffing
  • Experience working in software development environment and developing underlying processes
  • CBAP, PMP, or similar certification preferred

 

Knowledge:

  • Waterfall, Agile, and Lean software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in technology and computer software applications
  • Understanding of various logic diagrams and requirements documentation methods and formats
  • Understanding of client/server and Web-based technologies,
  • Specific knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies
  • Business Architecture principles and methodologies

Software Experience:

  • Moderate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • MS Project Experience (Nice to Have)
  • Jira, VersionOne or similar agile lifecycle management tool
  • Quality Management and SQL experience preferred
  • Previous experience in IT Business Analysis or IT Business Consulting
  • PEGA and Mulesoft experience (Nice to Have)
  • On Prem Mainframe and Cloud-based development Knowledge (Nice to Have)
