PAY RANGE: $20.33 / hour

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Indoor Operations Lead Attendant plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing guest services, including ticket sales for ski operations and amusement parks, customer service in the ski shop, and rental desk operations. This position requires a commitment to team leadership, superior guest service, and efficient management of departmental operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform sales transactions using a cash register and computer.
Answer customer questions via telephone, email and in person.
Maintain inventory, account for cash, and maintain daily business transactions.
Provide customers with appropriately maintained, sized and fitted snowboards, skis and poles in a safety-conscious manner.
Educate customers on safe use of equipment by following Spirit Mountain training information.
Perform maintenance on equipment and facilities including various types of buildings and grounds maintenance.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the facility and grounds which includes all general cleaning including but not limited to:
Garbage removal
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
Dusting
Cleaning restrooms
Wiping walls
Cleaning windows
Banquet and event clean-up
Perform duties as assigned.
Perform light maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
Display great customer service skills.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise using critical thinking skills.
Promote and maintain a friendly and upbeat experience for our customers.
Must attend work as scheduled.
Interact with customers to ensure positive experiences.
Monitor for maintenance and repair needs.
Establish and maintain favorable working relationships with fellow employees and the general public.
Work autonomously.
Assist in training new co-workers.
Assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write, and speak English in a fluent manner.
Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use of prosthetic device that will enable these senses to function adequately.
Must be able to make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures, as well as use good judgment in day-to-day activities.
Must be reliable and flexible with the ability to work nights and weekends.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and imposed deadlines.
Ability to use problems solving skills.
Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience required. Internal and external experience may be combined.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with Spirit Mountain operations in winter and summer season.
A minimum of one year supervisory experience.
Valid class D driver’s license and acceptable driving record for company vehicle use.
3 years of directly related, or equivalent experience in the areas of Lift Operations, Adventure Park Operations as well as summer and winter mountain operations. Internal and external experience in multiple areas can be combined.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to be on your feet, lifting, bending and stooping for extended periods of time.
Must be able lift up to 25 pounds.
