- Operate advanced optical equipment to measure pupillary distance, segment heights, and other critical parameters for lens fabrication.
- Educate patients on proper lens care, maintenance, and the benefits of various lens coatings and materials.
- Collaborate closely with optometrists and ophthalmologists to facilitate seamless patient care and address complex visual needs.
- Manage inventory of optical supplies, frames, and lenses, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are processed efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Optician or in a related optical role within the healthcare sector.
- Valid certification or licensure as an Optician, adhering to state or regional regulatory requirements.
