Job Description:

The Electrical Department is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Student Worker to support instructors and lab equipment.  This role offers hands-on experience with electrical systems and tools—ideal for students pursuing a career in the electrical field.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Assisting instructors with lab and classroom setup
Maintaining and repairing meters and test equipment
Repairing and maintaining job boards
Setting up for performance exams
Recycling and disposing of used wire
Ordering and tracking repair parts and materials
Performing basic carpentry tasks when needed
Cleaning and organizing lab spaces
Moving and setting up classroom/lab furniture and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Basic electrical knowledge and skills.

  • Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment-multi-meters and related equipment.

  • Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
