This is a limited part time position providing transportation for weddings, and events. Dates include but not limited to: Aug 22, 2026 , Sep 25, 2026 , Sep 26, 2026 , Sep 27, 2026 , Oct 9, 2026 , Oct 10, 2026 If you are able to commit to the above dates, you will earn a winter season pass for 2025/2026. βThis is a seasonal position from June 15, 2025 - October 10, 2025. Drivers must be 21 years old, have a clean driving record; and ability to pass a DOT physical, and background check. Β General Purpose: β Provide transportation for weddings, events, and airport service. β Perform safe and efficient operation of all transportation vehicles and equipment including: related maintenance, daily record keeping, and safety checks of assigned vehicles or equipment. β Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information relative to all services and special activities Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. This position will remain open until filled. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: β Safely transport employees/guests in company vehicles. β Maintain an operating schedule and report any problems immediately. β Communicate effectively with guests regarding resort information and concerns/ problems. β Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and in good working order. β Immediately report any problems or maintenance requirements to the Transportation Supervisor. Other Responsibilities: β Fuel vehicles as needed. β Wash vehicles as needed. β Thoroughly clean vehicle at the end of every shift. β Other duties as assigned. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: β Must be able to safely drive vehicles on public roadways and mountain forest service roads. β Must be able to problem solve and make safe decisions while driving in adverse weather. β Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance required. β Basic knowledge of Purgatory Resort and surrounding area preferred. β Alertness, spatial perception, judgment, concentration, patience, near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision, color vision as well as visual discrimination is required on a daily basis. Β Education and Experience: β High School diploma or GED preferred. β Must hold a current Commercial Driverβs License β An acceptable driving record is also β required. β Background check required. β Passenger Endorsement required (P2). Medical Certification: β Ability to pass a medical certification test (DOT physical) Material and Equipment Directly Used: β Bus and passenger van, cleaning equipment and supplies. β Vehicle maintenance equipment and supplies. Β Working Environment/Physical Activities: β 90% of the workday is spent driving vehicles, often in adverse weather conditions including heavy rain, lightning, and hail. 10% of the workday is spent in a normal office environment. β Occasional exposure to non-harmful fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gases. Potential hazards include but are not limited to: mechanical, electrical, and road hazards. β Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 75 pounds. β Constantly operating vehicle controls when driving. β Occasional stoops, crouches, reaches, and handling luggage. β Constant use of near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision are essential to job performance.
