Job DetailsJob Location: PEOPLE INCORPORATED MAIN OFFICE - EAGAN, MN 55121Salary Range: $20.00 HourlyHuman Resources Intern   People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking an HR Intern to join our team this fall. The purpose of the internship is to provide on-the-job experience for those pursuing higher education in Human Resources. The HR Intern will have an opportunity to learn about People Incorporated services as well as receive firsthand job experience in a variety of HR functions such as talent acquisition, compliance and HR operations, compensation and job architecture, HRIS and data management/data analysis, employee relations, and special projects.    Schedule: Part-time, Monday-Friday, flexible schedule between 15-20 hours per week during regular business hours.   Location(s):  People Incorporated's main office in Eagan.  After initial onboarding and training period, there may be some flexibility to work remotely.    Hiring Range: $20.00 per hour   People Incorporated Mental Health Services is the largest nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota. For over 50 years, we have been a leading community partner, transforming the health of our communities through innovative solutions.   Learning Objectives:  Build foundational knowledge of Human Resources functions in a non-profit environment Develop understanding of employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding, including critical compliance requirements at each stage Practice professional skills by supporting process improvement projects, identifying data gaps, and recommending solutions.   Main Job Duties:  Assist with job description revisions and updates to ensure accuracy and consistency in content and formatting.  Evaluate descriptions within job families to identify potential overlaps or gaps in qualifications or job duties. Support compensation and market-pricing projects by researching industry benchmarks, gathering data, and assisting with analysis and recommendations. Assist with data integrity projects within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Provide administrative and project support for the development, review, revision, and maintenance of Human Resources policies, procedures, handbooks, and standard operating procedures. Assist with new hire orientation and employee onboarding tasks during bi-weekly New Hire Orientation sessions. QualificationsRequired Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary degree program in Human Resources or closely related field.   Benefits: Accrue up to 48 hours of Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) in accordance with state and local requirements   People Incorporated is committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions.
