Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is hiring Substitute Food Service Workers/Cashiers to support the school cafeteria team at East Aurora Union Free School.  This flexible, on-call position is perfect for individuals looking to work part-time while making a difference in a school community. Perfect for parents or retirees!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students

Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and cafeteria

Restock supplies and assist with food prep and cleanup

Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Must pass required background checks per district and NYS regulations

Requirements

 We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented individual who enjoys providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass a New York State background check.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine manual tasks.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills with the ability to operate a cash register accurately; prior register experience is a plus.
