The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring a caring, energetic Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
Our two-year-old classroom is full of curiosity, creativity, and exciting developmental milestones. We're looking for someone patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about helping young children learn through play.
What You'll Do
- Create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment for two-year-olds
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on, age-appropriate activities
- Support early language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions
- Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions
- Use positive behavior guidance and consistent classroom routines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Communicate with families and collaborate with fellow teachers
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing and background screening requirements
