I.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level technician and subject matter expert within the Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for leading complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and high-level repairs on plant equipment and systems. A Tech III demonstrates advanced technical knowledge across all maintenance disciplines and plays a key role in mentoring Tech I and Tech II staff, driving continuous improvement, and supporting equipment reliability strategies across the facility. This role requires independent decision-making, leadership on projects, and collaboration with both the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional departments.

II.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

路聽Lead advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.

路聽Serve as a lead technician on critical repair work and major equipment overhauls.

路聽Coordinate and execute predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime.

路聽Mentor and provide hands-on training to Tech I and Tech II team members.

路聽Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects and equipment installations.

路聽Collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve equipment performance and reliability.

路聽Perform precision alignment, calibration, and instrumentation tasks.

路聽Interpret complex technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

路聽Lead root cause failure analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.

路聽Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety and environmental standards.

路聽Manage CMMS documentation for critical repairs and equipment history tracking.

路聽Support spare parts identification and procurement through collaboration with Maintenance Planner or Inventory Coordinator.

路聽Recommend and help implement process improvements and standard work instructions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Technical certification, or associate degree in a related field preferred.

Experience:

At least 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience is preferred
