Optometric Tech - full time

iRefract is seeking a couple motivated and caring Optometric Techs to open a new location in East Peoria, Illinois!  Optometric Technicians are integral members of our team and they are truly a "jack of all trades", plus customer-service oriented, reliable, and hardworking.

Duties Include

• Pre-test patients by performing pre-exams
• Verification of insurance and handling payments
• Schedule patient appointments
• Ensure proper check-out procedures
• Perform business and administrative tasks, such as maintaining order records, keeping track of patients' prescriptions, answering phones, medical billing, and ordering/maintaining inventory
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous direct experience in the eyecare industry preferred
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication skills
• Great personality
• Strong drive and ability to take initiative
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate multi-tasker
