Responsibilities

• Responsible for using the storeroom system to locate spare parts and inputting work order requests into the CMMS.
• Operate plant mobile equipment and have the ability to troubleshoot motors, transformers, electrical drives, starters, breakers, disconnects, electrical interlocks, temperature and pressure transmitters and similar devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and electronic circuits, use PLC and PC programs, read blueprints and schematic designs, as well as select and use proper tools and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required
• Familiarity with the following is preferred: cement process flow and equipment functions; electrical, mechanical and plant safety rules; computer hardware; safe rigging techniques; plant power distribution and AC/DC circuits; different lubrication requirements of plant equipment.
• Successful candidate must work shifts, weekends and holidays
• Requires qualification received from either and approved Electrical Training Program or other institution
• Candidate must take and pass a written Electrical and PLC test
• Rate $40.61hr and up, depends on scoring of Electrical and PLC test.
