Hardscape Showroom Sales Representative-Eden Prairie

We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Hardscape Showroom Sales Representative to join our Gertens Showroom Gallery team in Eden Prairie.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hardscape, landscape supply, or outdoor living industry and a strong understanding of hardscape products, materials, and project applications. In this role, you'll partner with homeowners, contractors, landscape professionals, and designers to provide expert product recommendations, develop solutions for a wide range of outdoor projects, and guide customers through the sales process from initial consultation to final purchase.

Success in this position requires the ability to build strong customer relationships, confidently discuss product features and installation considerations, and deliver an exceptional showroom experience while supporting sales goals. You'll also help maintain an organized, attractive showroom that showcases our products and inspires customers planning their outdoor spaces.

Seeking candidates available to start right away, working Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays and seasonal extended hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service 
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs 
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on inquiries 
• Support projects from initial consultation through completion 
• Maintain product knowledge, pricing, and promotions 
• Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing 
• Assist with inventory, displays, and sample management 
• Identify opportunities to upsell and build repeat business 
• Support showroom marketing initiatives, including social media and brand messaging 
• Assist in planning and hosting showroom events 
• Collect customer feedback to improve showroom experience and marketing efforts 
• Resolve customer issues and support team members as needed 

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred 
• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred 
• Industry experience (landscaping, stone, hardscapes, or similar) required
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills 
• Comfortable working toward sales goals 
• Basic computer and POS system skills 
• Ability to work independently and on a team

Physical & Schedule Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25–50 lbs occasionally 
• Must be available weekdays with occasional Saturdays 
• Flexibility during peak seasons and events
