Role: Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Schedule: Five-day workweeks, including Saturdays

Oak Tree Animal Clinic, an AAHA-accredited facility collaborating with Raritan Animal Hospital, is seeking an exceptional veterinary technician with 3-5 years of experience to join our passionate and supportive team.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Perform vaccinations and preventive care proficiently
- Carry out venipuncture and IV catheterization confidently
- Operate lab machines and perform microscope work
- Apply Fear Free practices and support team members with respect and consideration
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills daily
- Handle and restrain patients safely, including carrying up to 45 lbs.
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- 3-5 years of veterinary technician experience
- Proficiency in vaccinations, preventative care, venipuncture, IV catheterization
- Familiarity with lab equipment and microscope work
- Interest in and willingness to practice Fear Free techniques
- Respectful and team-oriented mindset
- Clear communication skills and strong critical thinking
- Physical ability to safely restrain and carry patients up to 45 pounds
