Head Janitor

Excel Facility Services is looking for an experienced and reliable head janitor. 

• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned be manager.
• Consults with manager for the purpose of planning, prioritizing and scheduling custodial activities and achieving site maintenance objectives.
• Delivers a variety of items for the purpose of distributing materials to the appropriate parties within site as requested by manager
• Distributes custodial supplies and equipment for the purpose of disseminating materials to staff and/or storage locations.
• maintains in an attractive and clean condition, identifying necessary repairs to facilities and/or equipment, etc.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of janitorial items required to properly maintain facilities.
• Monitors staff in and around work areas for the purpose of ensuring site safety and correct, complete SOW.
• Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
• Request/replenishes janitorial supplies for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use.
• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action or notifying manager for resolution.

• Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met

Skills and Education Requirements:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently as needed.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
