What you will be doing

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests
Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout each event
Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
Communicate effectively with the banquet team and event staff
Verify guest age and follow all applicable alcohol-service requirements
Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service practices
Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.

Requirements

Positive attitude and excellent customer-service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy events
Previous bartending, restaurant, or banquet experience preferred
Bartending certification or alcohol-service certification preferred
Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcohol
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
