Downstream Planner

·        Responsiblefor material replenishment (raw material and/or finished goods).
Use MRP (right balance of Resource Vs Demand) to ensure stock availability ontime at right place.

·        Collaboratewith Upstream and Downstream Planning Leader and Supply and Inventory Planner.

·        RunDistribution Requirement Planning process on its perimeter.

·        Defineand update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives whileoptimizing inventory level.

·        Managethe purchase order portfolio, analyse stock discrepancies and performadjustments.

MainActivities

·        PRto PO conversion through ERP batch job (Ensure IG flow of PR to PO iscompletely automated) at Vendor - Material Level and aligned to forecast.

·        Actionon MRP Exceptions (SAP example: MD06) and work with suppliers to advise /expedite the deliveries.

·        ManageCustomer Requests Workflows.

·        Recordthe Purchase Orders Acknowledgement, Advance Shipping Notification in ERP andmanage invoice discrepancy if any.

·        Ensurethe stock is available by analysing and taking right actions to keep theUpstream Back Order Lines, Downstream Back Order Lines, Pre-Shortage, Shortage,Stock Coverage and Stock Health under control.

·        Definedefault transportation mode by using Air/Sea Tool and go through the workflowin case of transportation mode change.

·        Beprimary contact of the suppliers and work closely with:

·        DownstreamPlanning Leader for right prioritization in Production Scheduling and QueueManagement.

·        UpstreamPlanning Leader for forecast validation before submission to suppliers andrecurrent or structural issues.

·        Supply& Inventory Planner in case of any MRP Parameter Optimization

·        Warehouseto support Stock Discrepancy analysis and corrections if any.

·        Transportation/ Logistics team to track the shipments.

·        Activelyparticipate in SIM2

·        Alljobs involved in strategizing, optimizing and executing the flow of materials,information, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective productionand delivery processes.
