Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Farm & Grounds Crew to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day physical labor across our tree farm operations, including planting, irrigation, pruning, harvesting, and general land maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Planting & Cultivation: Plant, pot, stake, and care for trees, shrubs, and saplings.

• Harvesting & Digging: Assist with ball-and-burlap (B&B) digging, container tagging, loading, and tying down trees for delivery.

• Field Maintenance: Prune trees, weed rows, apply mulch, and maintain grounds/fences across the farm.

• Irrigation Care: Assist with setting up, checking, and repairing basic drip and sprinkler irrigation lines.

• General Labor: Load/unload trucks, move materials, maintain clear access roads, and keep work areas clean and safe.

• Equipment Care: Safely handle manual hand tools (shovels, shears, loppers) and assist with basic preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and perform physical labor (bending, reaching, standing, walking) throughout the day.

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications (Major Pluses)

• Equipment Experience: Prior experience operating farm or light machinery (e.g., skid steers, tractors, loaders, mini-excavators, or forklifts).

• Previous Field Experience: Prior experience in tree farming, agricultural labor, commercial landscaping, or construction.
