Job Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and improving profitable and quality products, services and processes for our Winergy brand. This role demands interdisciplinary leadership and coordination as well as independent thinking. Experience in Winergy’s processes and products in the Wind Power industry is a welcomed plus. The ideal candidate will be intimately knowledgeable of wind gearbox technology, gearbox repair process and have experience with SAP. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the commercial team including: 
  • Supporting external and internal customer visits 
  • Providing customer training where needed 
  • Performing special inspections and field visits 
  • Attending tradeshows and other industry events 
  • Identification of components  
  • Supporting special customer requests 
  • Support resources associated with the repair process including but not limited to engineering support for BOM creation, purchasing and logistics support for external rework of parts 
  • Introducing new products and services to the Winergy portfolio including: 
  • Multi-brand products 
  • Repairs of new Winergy portfolio gearboxes 
  • Accessories 
  • Main Shaft 
  • Couplings 
  • Generators 
  • Performing cost/benefit and ROI calculations 
  • Support of aftersales/field service team 
  • Global alignment for service products offerings 
  • Strategic sourcing for new components 
  • Strategic alignment with partners and suppliers  
  • Finding sources new components 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the Wind Power Industry 
  • Strong risk analysis and mitigation skills 
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions and support projects to completion 
  • Strong analytical skills for data assessment and decision-making 
  • Excellent technical communication skills
  • Effective communicator for collaboration with diverse teams
