Human Resources Specialist

Requirements

• Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and offboarding.
  
• Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with candidates for open positions.
  
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, contracts, and HR documentation.
  
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure new employees complete all required paperwork and training.
  
• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace questions.
  
• Assist with employee relations and address workplace concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
  
• Monitor attendance, time-off requests, and other employee-related information.
  
• Assist with performance reviews, employee development, and training initiatives.
  
• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR data.
  
• Work closely with management and department leaders on staffing and employee-related matters.
  
• Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or a related position.
  
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, and employment practices.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment software.
  
• Ability to work onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL.
  
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
