Description
Plaisted Companies has openings for a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our Sand & Gravel Division during peak season (spring through early fall). This role involves hauling aggregates and materials using dump truck, end dump, pup & truck, and flatbed equipment.
Drivers interested in year-round work may have the opportunity to cross-train and assist our Propane Division during late fall and winter months.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and trailers to haul sand, gravel, and other materials
- Operate a dump truck, End dump, Pup & truck, Flatbed
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Complete accurate daily paperwork, delivery tickets, and logs
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in past 2 years)
- Strong safety mindset, reliability, and customer service skills
- Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and physical exam
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsement in the future (if needed)

Requirements
Must hold Class A CDL-
- No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years
- Pass a 5 Panel Drug test (Urinalysis)
- Pass a Back and Extremity exam
- Be 21yrs + of age
- Unexpired Medical Card
