Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000

  • Position: MRI Technologist II

  • Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL

  • Full-Time, 40 hours weekly

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating mid to evening shifts, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam.  Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.  Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred:  A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher

  • Required:  ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified

  • Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

  • Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
