  • Hours:  Typically a 6:30 am start

  • Required Travel: None

What you will need:

  • Certifications (Required): ARRT, IEMA

  • Certifications (Preferred):  RCIS

  • Education: 2-year degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent

  • CPR: BLS (issued by the American Heart Association), ACLS within 1 year

  • Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred

  • Skills: Self-motivation, technical skills

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of technical and clinical duties which require independent judgment to function as an integrated part of the laboratory team of technicians, nurses and physicians performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures

  • Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic waveform and provide detailed documentation during routine and complex cardiology procedures

  • Provide monitoring, during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest

  • Interpret EKG rhythm disorder and hemodynamic abnormalities

  • Become familiar with EKG and hemodynamic waveform recognition

  • Maintain responsibility for proper patient records and procedure logs

  • Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures
