You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned surveillance or alarm systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
