Compensation: $25 to $28 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, you will support Quality Control and validation activities by performing environmental monitoring, in-process testing, raw material release testing, and laboratory documentation. This position plays a direct role in ensuring product quality and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Execute the environmental monitoring program for cleanroom environments.

  • Perform Quality Control testing, including:

    • In-Process Testing

    • Bioburden Testing

    • Growth Promotion Testing

    • Raw Material Release Testing

  • Release raw materials and maintain reference sample inventories.

  • Support process validation activities and projects.

  • Record samples, test results, and laboratory data in laboratory software systems.

  • Maintain compliance with quality systems, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.

  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and project teams.

  • Assist with laboratory documentation and recordkeeping.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • At least 6 months of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, Microbiology laboratory, or related scientific field.

Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques and practices.

  • Experience working within quality systems and cGMP-regulated environments.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Technical and scientific report-writing abilities.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment
  • 80% Laboratory/Cleanroom

  • 20% Administrative and documentation activities
