BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking DSP / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA’s DSP / Direct Support Professionals work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We provide an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of others and offer flexibility in our roles to match your needs.  We are part-time and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie, PA. The majority of our hours are weekday, dayshifts.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a DSP / Direct Support Professional:

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation 
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities  
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community 
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments 
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization 

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour +)
• • Paid trainings and only a 1-day paid orientation! 
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours,various shifts) 
• Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Mileage reimbursement weekly

Qualifications for Our DSP / Direct Support Professionals:

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities 
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
