This role involves working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and uphold Starbucks’ commitment to quality and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to Starbucks recipes and quality standards.- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and customer seating areas.- Operate coffee-making equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure optimal performance.- Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures.- Uphold Starbucks’ standards of quality, safety, and sustainability in all aspects of work.- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge of Starbucks products and services.- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.Qualifications: Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.- Experience in food and beverage preparation or handling is an advantage.Required Skills and Abilities:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding measurements.- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
