Viridian Staffing's(www.viridianstaffing.com)Client is looking for an exceptional people manager to be their Head of Cultivation for anindoor grow operation in the Eugene, Oregon, area.

As Head ofCultivation, you will be responsible for the leadership and organization forall cultivation activities in the grow operation. You will direct and oversee the employeeactivities for all operations from propagation, planting and cultivating, toirrigation, harvesting, and record keeping. You should have a "rollup your sleeves" attitude in order to be successful in this operation andare very passionate about quality yields and continuous improvement. Youwill be expected to refine and enforce existing Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) in an effort to advance the Company's mission. Usingyour knowledge of Oregon Cannabis regulations and OSHA rules, you will ensureadherence to compliance and safety regulations by all employees. Using your proven experience with variousgrow mediums meeting or exceeding yield expectations, you will plan and directoperations for optimum quality crop production. As a successful peoplemanager known for inspiring your employees, you enjoy hiring, training, andcoaching employees in all aspects of the grow operation.
The ideal HeadGrower will have 5+ years of successful commercial cannabis cultivationexperience, with at least 2+ years of that experience as a people manager in acultivation environment. You have managed indoor cultivation facilities ofat least 15k+ square feet of canopy with multiple flowering rooms. Youhave experience with both HPS and LED lighting. You have phenomenalcommunication skills and enjoy being part of a team, versus only spending timewith the plants. Ideally, you'll have a degree in horticulture oragronomy. You are an expert when itcomes to climate control and directing crop planning and scheduling. It ispreferred that you understand the climate complexities of the Pacific Northwest. Compensation: Starting at $65K/year + Bonus
