JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- Licenses: Licensed in CA
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience: Neonatology experience preferred; Pediatric hospitalist background
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; no restrictions or drug issues
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pediatric and neonatal hospitalist coverage, managing 80% NICU and 20% pediatric patients.
- Perform neonatal airway management including intubation, resuscitation, and management of air leak/pneumothorax.
- Perform emergent procedures such as UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, and needle decompression.
- Manage neonatal ventilators and provide respiratory support as needed.
- Collaborate with ED and anesthesia for pediatric patients requiring chest tubes or intubations.
