Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)

TheraEd Staffing Group is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity for the full school year.

The CBT will provide behavioral support and intervention services to students in a school setting while collaborating with teachers, school staff, and other members of the student's support team.

This is an ASAP-start opportunity for the full school year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support and intervention services to students in a school setting.
  
• Implement behavioral strategies and intervention plans as directed by the appropriate clinical team.
  
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data.
  
• Support students in developing appropriate behavioral, social, communication, and functional skills.
  
• Monitor student responses to interventions and communicate relevant observations to the appropriate team members.
  
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student's support team.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  
• Follow school policies and student support plans.
  
• Promote a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
  

Requirements

• Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification.
  
• Ability to work full-time at 1.0 FTE.
  
• School-based experience preferred.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with students and school staff.
  
• Availability to begin ASAP.
  
• Ability to commit to the full school year.
