The Technical Program Lead, Infrastructure & Workplace Technology is responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of enterprise infrastructure and workplace technology programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between Fluke and Fortive Infrastructure Shared Services and works across internal IT teams, vendors, finance, and procurement to ensure reliable delivery, cost discipline, and clear execution.
The role focuses on program coordination and delivery across cloud servers, data centers, workplace productivity tools, Microsoft platforms, networking, contracts, purchase orders, and infrastructure financial tracking. This is a hands-on technical program leadership role with accountability for execution and follow‑through rather than people management.
Key Responsibilities
Â
- Serve as the operational point of contact with Fortive Infrastructure Shared Services for infrastructure and workplace technology initiatives, translating Fortive standards and timelines into actionable Fluke side execution plans
- Coordinate cross functional delivery across internal IT, vendors, finance, and procurement for programs spanning cloud infrastructure, data center transitions, networking, and Microsoft platform rollouts (M365, Azure AD/Entra, Intune, etc.)
- Track program status, dependencies, and risks; escalate blockers early rather than absorbing them.
- Own financial tracking for infrastructure programs: purchase orders, contract renewals, vendor invoicing alignment, and budget to actuals reporting.
- Maintain program documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication cadences that keep leadership informed without requiring them to chase status.
- Communicate program progress to Fluke L1 in terms of impact delivered, risks and tradeoffs, cost posture, and operational readiness.
Â
Qualifications and Experience
Â
- 7+ years in technical program or project management within IT infrastructure, preferred in a shared services or multi entity corporate structure.
- Working fluency in cloud infrastructure, Microsoft enterprise platforms, and networking fundamentals, enough to hold a credible technical conversation with engineers and Fortive counterparts, not enough that you need to re-explain architecture to them.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor contracts, POs, and infrastructure budgets.
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and reporting to a technically deep, hands on director.
