Job Responsibilities
As a Caregiver / DSP / IDD Attendant, you may assist participants with daily living activities and community participation, including:
Companion Care Services
•   Providing companionship and emotional support
•   Cooking meals and light housekeeping
•   Shopping and running errands
•   Assisting with home chores
•   Attending medical appointments
•   Playing games, making crafts, or watching favorite shows together
Community Support Services
•   Helping individuals build social and adaptive skills
•   Supporting participation in community activities
•   Going to restaurants, movies, bowling, libraries, festivals, museums, and local events
•   Encouraging independence and community engagement

Flexible Schedule Options
We offer flexible part-time caregiver schedules to fit your availability, including:
•   Evening shifts
•   Weekend shifts
•   Part-time hours  (can be as little as 4 hours, up to 28 hours per week)

Caregiver Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
•   Must be at least 18 years old
•   Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
•   Ability to lift or transfer up to 40 pounds by yourself, and up to 200 pounds with assistance Â
•   Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances:
o   ACT 33
o   ACT 34
o   FBI Fingerprints
Preferred Qualifications
•   High School Diploma or GED
•   Experience as a:
o   Direct Support Professional (DSP)
o   Caregiver
o   Home Health Aide (HHA)
o   Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
o   Direct Care Worker
•   Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
