The Tour Guide warmly welcomes guests and proactively offers them information on operations and answers questions.Â

Duties and Responsibilities:Â
Proactively greet guest, groups of guests, and schools within earshot with a warm welcomeÂ
Communicate ticket prices accuratelyÂ
Follow the Find a Way to Their Heart service program with visitors, coworkers, and vendorsÂ
Ensure group leaders are guided efficientlyÂ
Document group and school group’s activities in numerical order on the check off sheetÂ
Command attention and take the lead with group leaders and teachersÂ
Explain and start exhibits as neededÂ
Ensure exhibits are clean and workingÂ
Report to management in the instance an exhibit is having an issueÂ
Obtain and share accurate farm knowledge with guests and co-workersÂ
Complete daily operational checklist in area of responsibilityÂ
Complete daily cleaning checklist in area of responsibilityÂ
Solve problems as they occurÂ
Work in a fast-paced environment paying attention to each guest and remembering which attractions they experienced and which ones they have yet to experienceÂ
Professionally, politely, and positively communicate to guests and co-workersÂ
Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesÂ
Follow written and verbal instructions from company operating procedures and/or management Â
Stay organized in manner, with materials, and company propertyÂ
Stay in constant communication with other departments informing them of guests’ activities and their desiresÂ
