Job DetailsJob Location: Eielson AFB, AK 99702Salary Range: $19.27 - $19.27 HourlyWe’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team! Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a clinic environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff. Pay Rate: $19.27 USD Hourly Work Shift: ON-CALL Monday – Friday 5.5-to-7 hour shifts depending on which team member you will be covering for. Clinic Housekeeper “On-Call” occasionally for same day as labor needs vary Shift time varies depending on your availability earliest start time being 9 am – latest shift end being 10pm Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required Responsibilities Clean assigned areas of the clinic, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the Clinic Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, healthcare) Physical Requirements Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift Pushing and pulling housekeeping carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift Able to lift 0 – 40 lbs frequently Must handle chemicals including bleach and other disinfectants Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job Important to Know Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. Select vaccinations are REQUIRED Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.
