Position Overview:

The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions:

Conduct visual and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to quality specifications.
Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions.
Identify and document non-conformances and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing data, and quality documentation.
Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding quality concerns and findings.
Participate in root cause analysis and recommend improvements to reduce defects and waste.
Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in quality assurance preferred.
1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.
Basic knowledge of ISO or similar quality management systems is a plus.

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
Good vision, including color perception, to perform detailed inspections.
