Position Overview:

The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to quality specifications.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions.
  • Identify and document non-conformances and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing data, and quality documentation.
  • Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding quality concerns and findings.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend improvements to reduce defects and waste.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.



Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in quality assurance preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO or similar quality management systems is a plus.



Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.



Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Good vision, including color perception, to perform detailed inspections.
