Car Cleaner

Description

Maintain a continuous flow of clean kiln cars to the Setting Machine. Must learn to operate transfer to move kiln cars.  You will vacuum kiln cars, straighten, and replace broken block.  

Requirements

• Must work safely at all times and avoid working on moving kiln cars.
• Operate the Transfer Car as needed to properly move kiln cars between tracks.
• Remove any damaged kiln car parts and replace with new parts.
• Remove any debris from the kiln car.
• Inspect cars to determine if repair is necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of their area.
• Help in the Making and Packaging Depts as necessary.
• Have the ability to work as a team player and help on other jobs as needed.
• Must be able to lift 85 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly.
• Must be able to work overhead regularly.
• Hardhat, hearing protection and steel toe shoes required.
