Grinding Technician

Description

Job Summary 

Drive and operate front end loader, skid steer and lift truck. Monitor and maintain crushing, screening and conveying systems related to producing product. Be multi-functional in a manufacturing environment, able to assess what is going on and help prevent problems from arising. Participate in TPM/Preventative Maintenance Process.

• The grinding room operator’s area of responsibility is from the stockpile to storage bunkers. 
• Will learn all aspects on the grinding room operation and upkeep. 
• Provide regular communication with supervision on what material to grind and which bunker to store the material.
• Will provide assistance with Sand Prep duties as required.
• Will perform all other duties assigned.
• Must participate in dept housekeeping and meet standards.
• Must be a team player – help out co-workers.

Educational, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes etc. required.
• Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed.
• Must be able to pass pulmonary function testing for respirator.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly.

Work Schedule

6am-until production needs are met Monday through Friday.
