The Caswood Group is recruiting Registered Nurses for a Long-Term Opening at a local Elementary school. This is for registered nurses only  and is an agency position.

Caswood is seeking Registered Nursing candidates for a long-term position as a school nurse beginning immediately. The school nurse will be responsible for the provision and coordination of school health services for students and staff at the School. 

SCHOOL NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of nursing
• Current New York State license as a registered Professional Nurse
• Pediatric Experience, and/or school nursing
• Possesses professional role-modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality are expected

SCHOOL NURSE DUTIES: 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining student health, and immunization records
• Conducting various medical screenings
• Working with the building team to address health-related needs that impact learning
• Supervising the health office staff
