Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Fall River, MA. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) serving students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred (preschool through high school)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
