Job Title: Mobile ADAS Technician

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Fully Expensed Company Van

Location: Covering Cornwall - flexible on where you live as long as it is in Cornwall (Mobile Role)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (No Weekends and No call-outs)

Our client is a leading provider of ADAS calibration, programming and vehicle electronics services to the collision repair sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mobile ADAS Technician to cover the Cornwall region, within a well-established team.

The Role

Working from a fully equipped company van, you will visit Bodyshop’s, Dealerships and Repair Centres to carry out ADAS calibrations, vehicle diagnostics, coding, programming and electronic repairs. You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired to manufacturer standards and returned to the road safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out static and dynamic ADAS calibrations.
  • Diagnose faults on camera, radar and sensor-based safety systems.
  • Perform ECU coding, vehicle programming and software updates.
  • Complete fault finding on vehicle electrical and communication systems.
  • Conduct pre- and post-calibration inspections.
  • Interpret manufacturer repair methods and technical information.
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service while representing the company professionally.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety PPE regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience as an ADAS Technician, Diagnostic
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, coding and programming.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile role.

Ideal Background

This position would suit a qualified/experienced Motor Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Auto Electrician or MET Technician from an Accident Repair Bodyshop looking to develop a career in ADAS. However, full training will be provided for candidates with strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
