Primary Position Objectives |
Works with direction setting up, adjusting and operating relatively complex machinery in the manufacture of a wide variety of parts conforming to accurate quality standards. |

Key Responsibilities | - Ensure operation of departmental machinery.
- Make minor repairs to machine tools.
- Remove old tool from machinery and replaces with new tool.

Qualifications |
 |
Education Experience | - High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
- Good math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good mechanical skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge)

Physical Requirements | - Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
- Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally fromÂ
position-to-position. - Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
