Job DetailsJob Location: Methodist University Location - Fayetteville, NC 28311Position Type: Adjunct FacultyJob Location: Methodist University Location - Fayetteville, NC Position Type: Adjunct Faculty   Description The History Department in the Division of Humanities at Methodist University is looking for an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person course in an engaging and rigorous manner.  The instructor must be able to teach World History I or United States History I in Spring 2026 on campus either MWF or Tuesday-Thursday.  A successful candidate will be considered for future courses.    Responsibilities: Teach one section of World History I (to 1500) or United States History I (to 1865) during the Fall 2026 semester. Provide quality in-person instruction, including the delivery of constructive feedback and evaluation on student work in a timely manner. Communicate with students to support them and address their questions or concerns.   Required Materials: Cover letter, CV, and transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable for initial application).   The review of applicants will begin immediately, and applications will also be accepted and reviewed for future adjunct opportunities beyond the Spring 2026 semester.
