Senior Project Manager

We are working with a large industrial business to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to support a major industrial campus in the Binghamton, New York area.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in industrial infrastructure, utilities, facilities or capital projects who enjoys taking ownership of complex projects from initial planning through construction and commissioning.

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead a range of capital improvement, infrastructure and master planning projects across the campus. You will work closely with engineering, facilities, operations, contractors and tenants, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with budget, programme and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing infrastructure and capital projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning
  
• Overseeing contractors, vendors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
  
• Managing project budgets, schedules, procurement and reporting
  
• Supporting infrastructure upgrades and projects associated with the site's central utility plant
  
• Coordinating with internal teams and tenant stakeholders across a busy operational environment
  
• Managing bidding, contractor selection, negotiations and contract performance
  
• Identifying project risks and driving solutions before they impact delivery
  
• Ensuring projects meet relevant safety, environmental, regulatory and quality standards
  
• Supporting wider master planning and long-term campus development
  

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
  

Required Skills

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• 7+ years' Project Management experience within industrial infrastructure, utilities, facilities or major capital projects
  
• Experience delivering projects within an operational industrial environment
  
• Strong contractor and vendor management experience
  
• Knowledge of central utility plant systems, ideally including steam, chilled water, compressed air and associated infrastructure
  
• Strong experience managing project schedules and budgets
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Preferred Skills

• PMP or a similar project management qualification is advantageous
  

Pay range and compensation package

The Opportunity

This is a full-time, site-based position in the Binghamton area, working with a well-established industrial real estate business managing a major operational campus.

The package includes:

• $100,000 – $120,000 salary
