JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Patient Volume/Census: Clinic: 20-22 patients/day; Hospital consults: 3-4/day; EP cases: 4-6/day
- No. of Beds in Department: 268 beds
- EMR System: Cerner
- Credentialing Timeline: 30 days
- Cardiac electrophysiology procedures for heart rhythm disturbances
- Ablations (must demonstrate 100 EP cases in last 2 years with emphasis on ablations)
- Moderate sedation (must be comfortable performing independently)
- Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system (must be comfortable using)
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active AZ license (or willing to obtain)
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
- DEA: AZ DEA registration
- Certifications: ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience
- Provide electrophysiology services in both hospital and in-office clinic settings
- Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures including ablations for heart rhythm disturbances
- Conduct hospital consults (3-4 per day) and EP cases (4-6 per day)
- Administer moderate sedation independently
- Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system
