Position: Assistant Technician
Job Type: Full-time seasonal; potential transition to permanent full-time
Location: { Ellendale, DE } | Job sites throughout Delmarva
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional weekends
Initial Term: Immediate start through mid-January 2027
About the Opportunity
We're looking for dependable, hardworking people to support our field teams. You'll primarily work with Bright Brothers on exterior cleaning and holiday lighting, with opportunities to assist DryZone and Hello Garage of Delmarva as business needs change. This is an active, hands-on position working at job sites across Delmarva.
The initial position runs through mid-January 2027. Our goal is to transition the right person into a permanent, full-time role based on performance, available opportunities, and business needs. Permanent employment is not guaranteed.

What You’ll Do
- Assist lead technicians with exterior soft washing and holiday lighting installation and removal.
- Load, unload, organize, and care for tools, materials, and equipment.
- Help prepare job sites, protect homeowner property, and clean up after work.
- Support DryZone and Hello Garage crews with material handling, preparation, cleanup, and other assigned tasks.
- Follow instructions and safety procedures, including ladder safety.
- Work alongside experienced team members to learn different field services.
What We’re Looking For
- No previous experience required; paid training provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather, including colder temperatures.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights with proper training and safety measures.
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Flexible and willing to assist different crews as needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.
