Job Details: Job Location: ALM-Florence Al Corps - Florence, AL, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $11.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Housing, Schedule/Hours: Sunday-Saturday, 40 hours per week, shifts vary from 3:00pm-8:00amThe Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for an overnight Housing Monitor for the Emergency Homeless Shelter at the Florence Corps in Florence, AL.This position is responsible for: Accepting and processing residents staying in lodge/shelter overnightKey Responsibilities: Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules. Maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information. Ensures that lodge/shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action.
