Registered Nurse Pre-op/PACU - Part Time

National Spine & Ortho Surgery Center of Fort Myers is seeking a Part-Time Pre-op/PACU RN to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals.

• Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 16 hours/week
• Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Pre-op/PACU experience required

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A valid FL Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment)
• Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies
• The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
