What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll help maintain our community while supporting resident comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with building maintenance and repair projects
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting equipment and facility issues
  • Supporting life safety and emergency preparedness programs
  • Maintaining grounds and outdoor areas as needed
  • Responding to work orders and service requests
  • Working safely with tools, equipment, and maintenance systems
  • Collaborating with other departments to support resident and operational needs
  • Participating in ongoing training and skill development opportunities

Most importantly, you'll help ensure residents have a safe, comfortable place to call home.


Job Type

Full time available

Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Two years of relevant work experience 
  • Experience working with individuals living with dementia, behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or other specialized populations.
