The engineer will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction by systematically addressing issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed failure analysis on electronic components and systems to identify root causes of defects and malfunctions. - Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess product failures and generate comprehensive reports. - Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures. - Implement and manage failure analysis processes and methodologies to ensure consistent and accurate results. - Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineering teams and management, to facilitate informed decision-making. - Maintain detailed documentation of analysis procedures, findings, and corrective actions for future reference and continuous improvement. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in failure analysis techniques and technologies. - Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to support product development and enhancement efforts. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians in the failure analysis process. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all failure analysis activities.QualificationsRequired Education: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in failure analysis within the electronics or semiconductor industry. - Proven track record of conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve product failures. - Experience with advanced analytical techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF). - Familiarity with reliability testing and environmental stress screening methods.
